Hello. My name is Simon Fazio and I am a freelance photographer and videographer based in Melbourne.

photo by noni may, at home in travancore, june 2021

I’m available for portraits, events, weddings, parties, live music, corporate headshots & events, lifestyle shoots and some product work - but generally any style of photography involving people (and sometimes animals).

Have a look through some of my work below, and if my particular style matches with your vision, I'd love to chat more about bringing your idea to life - whether it be a simple headshot, snapping your party or birthday, band photos, a fashion shoot, a music gig or corporate event, a family portrait, christenings and baptisms, a maternity or newborn shoot, a pet portrait - just about anything. I also offer commission work if you have a particular place or subject you’d like captured.

For wedding photography bookings, click here to visit my dedicated wedding booking page for my portfolio and pricing details.

My rates are flexible depending on the size and scope of the project so reach out via the form below with more info and we can get to work.

quotes from actual real people who have actually worked with me

“If you’re in Melbourne and need a photoshoot and a lovely time, hit up Simon because his work is stunning.

His use of light and composition is amazing and his understanding of film is a skill I wish I had.”

— Tegan Louise (Tegan Louise Studios)

“More or less every good photo of us has been taken by Simon. If you need any photography, you should book him because he rules. 10/10 guy, great photographer.”

— Nick Kearton (Cool Sounds, Osbourne Again Records)

"To be honest, I find getting my photo taken daunting, uncomfortable and scary, but Simon makes it easy, effortless, funny and even enjoyable! He’s a wizard!! He captures mood, light, and texture beautifully, AND he is the sweetest gem of a human. Win ++++ !!"

— Emily Ulman (ALWAYS LIVE, Isolaid Festival, Brunswick Music Festival)

"I booked Simon as a surprise for my best friend’s 70s themed Hen’s Party and he was fantastic. He’s perfected the delicate balance of being present and unobtrusive, thus allowing for some really lovely, gentle candid shots. His editing work was unreal; he was able to put a 70s hue on a few of the shots which completely elevated them and thoroughly impressed the Bride. I have no doubt in my mind that I will book him again and again. Professional, kind and supremely talented."

— Amalie (client)

“Simon has taken a bunch of snaps of mine over the last few years - for music stuff, for flower stuff, and just for friend stuff!

He’s a wonderful photographer and an A+ person so if you’re in need of snaps, head his way.”

— Ali Duguid (Alexandra Duguid Florals)

“My brief to Simon at quite short notice on my part was ‘wine, smiles & make the blue pop’.

He blew the brief out of the water and provided content better than I could have dreamed of.

He’s also really talented at making the person being photographed feel comfortable and provides confident and non-judgmental direction.”

— Morgan Cook (Dom’s Social Club)
